The vision of these great designers

A great designer can see things that most people usually cannot see. That's why we love or hate many things without really knowing the reason. A designer looks at his creation, then looks at us and explains with great pride the objectives and results of lines, shapes and concepts of his art. You see, hear, reflect and ask to yourself: Where did this guy find this insperation? The vision and the thought of a designer are not built on what we can see today. They are inspired by what he can see far in advance, so that his art will not be outdated as soon as it is exhibited. Personally, as a journalist, I had the privilege to work with some of the well known and respected names of the automotive design, as Luiz Alberto Veiga, Gerson Barone and the brothers Marco Antonio and José Carlos Pavone, of Volkswagen. By the way, another great name is building his story: William Knop. Everytime you talk to these guys you learn about an aesthetic aspect in a car that you don't quite perceive by yourself.  In addition to their creative vision, these designers have in common a far reaching heart. It seems they can see the outside and inside of people. They lead with the reflective forms of attention, develop the harmonious lines of respect and give a special tone of excitement and prowess to their environment. A great designer knows better than anyone how to create, build and attract. It's someone who we always admire and respect for all that he sees and does. Today, on the eve of the opening of the Olympics Games in Brazil, an admired designer and a great human being, Veiga, celebrates his farewell from Volkswagen, for which, during 40 years, he strongly helped to create and build a long history of  lines, shapes and concepts of huge success. A heritage that is priceless. Congratulations for everything Veiga, for your vision, courage and so many accomplishments. Best of all is your friendship!
